Scholarship

Scholarships are gift aid offered to students that does not need to be repaid. Most scholarships are awarded to students based on merit, financial need or both. Although not required for all scholarships, we recommend that all students fill out the FAFSA.

The specific amounts and number of scholarships offered to students are based on available funding each year. The University of Massachusetts Lowell does not use applications for the selection of most merit scholarships.

Accomodation

Traditional Residence Hall Housing
We will be providing single and double occupancy bedrooms in our traditional residence hall spaces. Units that are typically reserved for 4 students (quads) will operate at double occupancy, all other spaces (typical single, double, and triple bedrooms) will be single occupancy with the exception of a limited number of rooms in Bourgeois and Fox that will operate at double occupancy. The occupancy for each of these units will be identified as either "Single Occupancy Bedroom" or "Double Occupancy Bedroom" when you view the available rooms on the "Room List" page in the online housing portal. Please see our Residence Hall information for details on specific buildings/unit types.

Suite and Apartment Style Housing
We will be providing a cohort housing model for students to live together in shared bedrooms within our suite and apartment residences. These spaces will be our typical occupancy which include single, double, and triple occupancy bedrooms. Please see our Residence Hall information for details on specific buildings/unit types.

Off-Campus Accommodations
Students have numerous options of finding an accommodation off-campus in nearby areas. Students can have access to studio apartments, paying guest facilities, sharing apartment complexes and many more.
