About Us

Northwood University is a privately owned university located in Midland, Michigan. It was established in 1959 in Michigan, Alma, by Arthur E. Turner and R. Gary Stauffer. The university had only one hundred students at its inception, but it has since grown into an accredited university. The DeVos Graduate School of Management was also established and expanded, and an Adult Degree Program was introduced. The university has gradually expanded its locations worldwide.

Northwest Education offers executive education, continuous learning, and corporate learning programs worldwide for professionals and senior executives. It was co-founded by Berkeley Haas School of Business, alumni of Harvard Business School, and IITs and is considered a thought leader in emerging areas of focus for individuals and organizations. They have various executive modular programs collaborating with some of the world's best universities.

Services & Facilities

The University provides various resources and programs that help students develop leadership skills, gain cultural awareness, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. In addition, the university's EXCEL program offers students the chance to build a self-development portfolio by participating in extracurricular activities such as volunteering, community service, attending nursing care facilities, and joining campus organizations.

Accomodation

The university provides on-campus housing for students. The freshman-only building accommodates 472 pupils and offers various facilities such as free laundry, vending machines, and a 24-hour computer lab. The furnished homes or apartments include bedrooms with Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Additionally, the building is conveniently connected to the dining area and offers 24-hour protection and surveillance for the safety of students. Each bedroom has cable TV, electrical outlets with three prongs, and interior fittings such as two office chairs, two bookcases, two extra-long twin beds (bunk-style), two tables, two wardrobes, and a full-length mirror.
