About University of the Fraser Valley - Hope Centre
Located in the beautiful Fraser Valley just east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada,the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV)is afully accredited,public university that enrolls approximately 15,000 students per year. UFV hascampuses and locationsin Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Hope, and a growing presence inChandigarh, India.
UFV is large enough to offer variety, and yet small class sizes allow you to get to know your instructors and learn in a hands-on environment. Hope Centre
The UFV Hope Centre serves the local community by offering upgrading and continuing education courses, and providing student services, such as registration, fee payment, and computer support. Students can request library books, get their campus cards, and write exams for courses at UFV or other institutions. Rooms are also available for rental by community groups.
Scholarship
Key features of our three new entrance scholarship categories:
- International Excellence Entrance Scholarships for 5 top applicants each year. $10,000 per applicant. Must submit an application.
- International Regional Entrance Scholarships for 35 top applicants each year. $5,000 per applicant. No application required—automatic qualification with completed application and receipt of official documents.
- British Columbia High School Entrance Scholarships for 5 top applicants each year. $5,000 per applicant. No application required—automatic qualification with completed application and receipt of official documents.

Admissions Requirements
The following must be fulfilled to get admitted to the University of the Fraser Valley
- International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
- Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
- Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
- Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
- You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.
Please note:If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.
