Canada’s oldest English University, the University of New Brunswick was founded in 1785. New Brunswick has two campuses, Fredericton and Saint John. Saint John is situated on the Bay of Fundy, known for its highest tides and as a mariner wonder of the world. So besides studying, a student gets to explore the uptown area, community centers, social clubs, festivals, sports events and concerts, to name a few.

Admissions Requirements

The following requirements must be fulfilled to get admitted to the University of New Brunswick

International students are considered on case-by-case basis. There can be some additional requirements, depending on the program you are applying to.
Students are required to submit their original transcripts from their last attended academic institutions. If they are not in English, then submit the translated copies of the same along with the originals.
Should provide the certificate issued by the International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) that compares educational credentials from other countries to educational standards in Canada.
Applicants must be 18 years old at the time of the beginning of the course.
You need to submit your English language proficiency test scores if you are coming from a non-English speaking country.

Please note:If you are not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada, you must obtain a valid study permit before you come to Canada.

Lovely Infrastructure!

On top of everything, the campus is just beautiful, it has an old red brick and ivy aesthetic which makes it lovely to walk through especially in the fall when all of the trees' leaves start changing colour! I attended the University of New Brunswick as an undergrad. I loved the small class sizes and the hands-on learning. UNB is also close to the city. It was worth studying here. The world-class education, global exposure and immense support from the community have transformed my life for the better.

I am glad that the university had all the services available at our disposal. I learned, spent joyful time with friends and worked at the same place till I moved out for my job. The teachers were experienced and had expertise in their fields and knew how to deal with students with different backgrounds. They helped maintain harmony in the classes. I learned a lot that I am currently using to contribute to my company now. The college services were great, but a good part-time opportunity on campus was especially a saviour.

The infrastructure of the college is really good.

I feel blessed that I got the chance to study at the University of New Brunswick. I got support from all the teachers and staff. The labs, library and classrooms are well maintained, are equipped with modern technology. Teachers and all faculty are also highly helpful. The quality of teaching is really of top quality with encouragement for learning and growing. Industry-related seminars and technical activities are highly promoted here. The campus life is amazing and safe. The fests and other activities keep students engaged. There is a cafeteria on campus that is very lively with decent food. The library is well equipped with a plethora of books and a spacious reading hall. Students can apply for scholarships, bursaries, and awards to meet their study expenses.
