Wide variety of courses

Fanshawe College offers a wide variety of courses that can be taken either in a classroom or in a distance education format. I took a few courses in the distance education format, and in my opinion, it was a nice change from my high school experience. I liked being able to study at my own pace and set my own goals, and I was never reprimanded for missing deadlines. The curriculum was challenging and interesting, and I got great grades. I also like the fact that Fanshawe offers a wide variety of courses outside of the STEM disciplines, which is very beneficial for students who want to go into arts or business. Fanshawe has a very good reputation, and I hear that they also offer great career and life opportunities after you graduate

Provided me with real-life work experience

The professors within this college provided real-life work experiences and technical skills that will be beneficial in my future career. Fanshawe truly believes in the future success of their students and provides amazing opportunities through their agreements with other universities around the world. I would highly recommend this program for anyone who wants to learn in an innovative environment and be encouraged to think outside the box. My professors and teachers were there for me every step of the way, encouraging my classmates and me to think critically and extensively while we were putting theory into practice in clinical labs and in the real world. Not only did Fanshawe College give me the knowledge, skills, and experiences that I required, but it also provided me with a sense of community. Fanshawe University offers over 60 co-operative education programs, making it one of the largest in Canada. By combining important, paid work experience with my academic curriculum, this program can help me to start my professional journey. Fanshawe Homestay Network helped me find a home that made me feel welcomed as I adjusted to my new life in Canada. I would certainly suggest it to all.

Peaceful atmosphere

The Fanshawe College provides you with opportunities to work on your skill sets like participating in activities, cultural events and also some sports activities. The campus is very beautiful and has an amazing environment, a really good library to study peacefully. The faculty is very supportive and friendly and will help you in carrying out your studies. The security officers monitor the safety of the campus by patrolling or using surveillance systems. The college has a great cafeteria that provides some great food options to sit and enjoy with friends. Students are encouraged to take advantage of career opportunities. The Career Center helped me in finding a meaningful career that matches my skills.

Helpful teachers

The classes are helpful and challenging and will help you with your future career. The teachers are always willing to help you outside of class hours. They will do anything in their power to make you understand the material.
